I bought the book with the cow on the front for my 3-yr-old, and we both loved it. It had a great variety of activities reinforcing preschool skills. This book lacks the variety. It has all 26 letters featured in exactly the same way. He doesn't seem to mind yet, but it would be better, I think, to mix up the letter activities. Otherwise, it is a great book. The stickers and race track are a great motivator. When we finished the other book, he was very proud to wear the blue ribbon.

These books are loved by my 3.5 year old. He cannot wait to do his "homework" every evening.

My son is 3 and wasn't ready for preschool yet so I got him this book so we could work together at home. It was definitely worth it! Now, when his big sister comes home from school with homework, he'll run to get this book so he can do his 'homework' too. When he first started the activities in the book, he was unsure but after some encouragement and a few pages, I could already see his confidence blossoming as he colored in pictures, started identifying patterns, doing dot-to-dots, and, the big discovery for him, that he's very good at mazes. He loves the sticker rewards and enjoys choosing the sticker for each activity he completes. He's so proud when he finishes an activity and I'm so happy that the activities are fun, challenging enough that he has to try, but not so difficult as to be frustrating and disheartening. We're very happy with this book.

I love all these Teacher Created Resources Workbooks. I think I have 7 or 8 of them.

Great resource

I love this series. The workbooks are fairly simple. Perfect for some extra practice at home. My kids love the sticker rewards, and enjoy finishing the books.
