Our class used another book which was much more expensive and confusing than this book.However, I would say most of the material in the two books are the same, even the chapter sequence.This book explains the basic corp tax concepts & code sections very clearly in simple understandable language.Without it, I would have definitely failed my corp tax class, since TAX is HARD.I highly recommend getting this book!!! I ended up getting an A in that class. Thank you:)

Highly recommend to read the E&E sections prior to the text book to help in understanding! I went the first several weeks of corporate tax without this, and it was so difficult to understand the material from the textbook alone. Then I got this, and it has made all the difference! Yes, it adds reading. But it’s worth every minute spent!

It's an awesome introductory guide to corporate taxation. Much more accessible than Bittker and Eustice. However, it would be nice it had more coverage of section 382 limitations.

Explains concepts well, but still a bit dense (not nearly as dense as my casebook though).

Arrived on time and this book helped me get the grade I needed in Corporate Tax. For law students, I would definitely recommend getting this book. It was very helpful for me.
